There are many opportunities to get involved in the community. Beltline Communities offers Beltline Planning Group, Beltline Parks & Public Places, Beltline Events Committee, Beltline Heritage Group and Beltline Social Environment Committee.

Beltline PlanningGroup (BPG) became active even before the amalgamation of the Victoria and Connaught. BPG proposed the Beltline community district. Through the Blueprint for the Beltline, it reinvented the former development regime.  Beltline Parks & Public Places inspired a new park on the former Carl Safran school site. Beltline Heritage completed a catalogue of our community’s important historic assets. Beltline Events participates with Lilac and other festivals. Beltline Social Environment contributes to better policing and better operation of social service agencies in our community.
